Do more with less - B2B Marketing in 2024

After surviving 2023, you are no doubt glad it's a new year. But now you are faced with still having to "do more with less." We hear you!

Focus your SEM efforts on ROI


1. Focus SEM on demand-capture with proven ROI in a designated amount of time, and don't spend on your brand name. View reporting on this channel weekly to hold your team/agency accountable.


Create purposeful, curated events


2. Cut the expensive tradeshow booth. Instead, hold curated, valued-add breakfasts, lunches or dinners for your top clients and prospects alongside the show. Cohost with a partner to expand your reach and grow you prospect lists together. Only allow reps to attend who generate a minimum number of meetings at the event.


Make sure sales + marketing unite on this strategy, and don't let reps tell you they HAVE to have a booth. They don't.


Revisit your core messaging


3. Reposition your message to showcase the ROI you bring to your clients/customers. Be specific and use testimonials/case studies to back up your value promise.


Those who can't show ROI will fall by the wayside in 2024.


Create, distribute, and amplify content


4. Don't skimp on content creation in your most important channels. Don't rely on organic reach - boost and advertise. Stay on message, stay consistent, stay in the game.


Outsource to maximize quality production


5. Outsource wherever necessary to keep your marketing output high. The amount of high-quality, freelance talent that is out there right now is astonishing. Utilize what they offer to keep you costs low, your quality and productivity high.



Both you and your clients need to prove ROI and grow responsibly this year.
